Stacy Caldwell has been the owner of Stacy’s Studio of Music and Arts since 1996. She grew up singing and playing the piano and continued her studies at East Texas Baptist University in Marshall, Texas, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education with a minor in Music. She taught first grade before moving to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue a career in singing and songwriting. After 6 years in Nashville, she returned to Texas where she taught elementary music in Irving and in McKinney, before opening her studio.

Stacy shares her love for music and children with her husband, James. James is a drummer and entertainer with The Morris Brothers. The “nerdy” Super Heroes are former hosts of The Kid’s Club on Fox TV, and currently entertain audiences across the country with fun, educational programs for kids. James and Stacy have two children. They live in McKinney and are very active in the music ministry at their church. Owner Stacy Caldwell opened Stacy's Studio of Music in 1996 when she began teaching group piano lessons in her home studio in McKinney, Texas. Word began to spread about the success of group piano lessons and Stacy's Studio became increasingly popular. In January 2004, Stacy's Studio expanded and moved to it's current location on 2490 White Avenue.

In the Fall of 2004, Stacy's Studio of Music became Stacy's Studio of Music & Arts and opened a Fine Arts Preschool for 3 & 4 year olds.

A solid curriculum and warm, inviting atmosphere combined with a gifted and caring staff have been the cornerstones in making Stacy's Studio of Music & Arts one of the fastest growing businesses in McKinney.
