Piano Lessons

Studio Policies

Stacy's StudioAll monthly payments are due on the FIRST of the month. No monthly invoices will be mailed. One invoice will be mailed prior to the first class and when payments are late. A $10 late payment penalty will be added to your account for all payments received after the 10th of the month. Failure to remit the late payment penalty and the current tuition payment before the 30th of the month will necessitate dismissal of the student.

A music & supply fee is due at the time of registration.

If for any reason the student chooses to terminate the course before completion, payment must be made through the end of the month in which Stacy’s Studio is notified of the student’s decision to terminate. There will be a $50 termination fee.

There will be no tuition reimbursement nor make-up lessons offered on missed lessons. Should a student miss a lesson, the assigned music will AUTOMATICALLY be placed in the student pick-up box. Students should retrieve the music quickly to allow plenty of practice time before the next lesson. Failure to pick-up music and continue practicing may cause student to fall behind the class.

Make-up lessons will be offered for cancellation due to inclement weather or teacher illness. Parents will be notified of cancellation and rescheduled time.

Stacy's StudioKinderKeys through Level II students are required to practice each song assigned at least two times daily, for a minimum of four (4) days a week. Level III students are required to practice a minimum of 5 days per week for at least 20 minutes daily. Level IV and up students are required to practice for at least 30 minutes daily. Students will be given additional information regarding home practice on the first day of class. PARENTS MUST accept the responsibility of ensuring the student completes the required practicing. Consistent lack of practicing is grounds for dismissal.

Under certain conditions, a student may be asked to discontinue lessons at our studio. These include (but are not limited to): excessive tardiness or absenteeism, continued lack of preparation of assignments, inappropriate or disruptive behavior. Students will be given a warning and trial period before final dismissal.
